Hybrid Log Home Plans

Ward’s Hybrid System gives you the look of a solid log home with the performance of a super insulated wall (R-30 or higher). Only the exterior walls are built differently than our full log homes, so the rest of your package and design options stay the same. You get the warmth and character of logs with more flexibility for energy codes and interior finishes. 

With a hybrid/timber home, you can mix materials to fit your style. Combine full logs or log siding with stone, tongue and groove boards, round or square timbers, stucco, drywall, and other siding accents. This works will if you want the log look in key areas, like the great room or entry, and a different finish in bedrooms or baths.
