The past two articles we discussed what to expect before you build a new log home.  In this third part we discuss the after while building with Ward Cedar Log Homes.

Your new home has been delivered and built, ready for you to relax in.  Everything in your home is brand new, however on occasion, you may find imperfections.  Fortunately, Ward Cedar Log Homes will still be there for you.

The Warranty
Ward’s 20-year warranty covers all log components against structural defects for 20 years and warrants that all items manufactured by Ward are free from defects in workmanship or design.  Our component suppliers also extend their individual product warranties to you as a Ward customer.  Ward has had long term relationships with all of its quality-oriented suppliers (Andersen, Schlage, CertainTeed, Perma-Chink Sealants, and any finishes) and insists that each look after any warranty claims promptly and fairly.  Ward will assist you in any claims with these companies.

One Year Follow Up
Ward’s Sales Reps will follow up with you one year after you have been in your new home to see how you are enjoying it and get feedback on how the process was and if you would have done anything differently.  Hopefully with all the planning prior to building your new home, there wouldn’t be a thing you’d change.

Making Memories
Your dream has come to life.  The moment you have been waiting for.  For some it’s just a few years, but for others they have been dreaming of a new log home for decades.  Now you can enjoy family get-togethers, entertain friends, soak in your tub after a long days work, enjoy a book in the den, or have a game night in the Great Room.
